Il y a 60 ans, une étrange insomnie a frappé la population. Un médicament a été trouvé, mais il a transformé les patients en vampires. Surnommés les Bloodivores, ils ont ensuite été pourchassés. Mi Liu est né de l’union d’une humaine et d’un vampire. Arrêté lors de l’attaque d’une banque, il est envoyé dans une prison spéciale réservée aux derniers Bloodivores. Il va peu à peu comprendre ce qui s’est vraiment passé soixante ans plus tôt…
